Upload section updated: New upload tool

Now, we can use a new upload tool (Jar file -Fileuploader-) to upload files bigger than 7mb directly to the server. So we avoid big delays in the indexing process. We hope you enjoy it and if you have some problem or suggestion, post it in the forum.

A new member in the Ultrastarsongs' TEAM

Since now, we have a new member who will moderate our forum: sgandtg (many know him). We wish him good luck and we thank him for his cooperation without which this page would not have become what it is today.

None of the winners claim his/her prize then we have repeated the raffle.

Winners of a temporal VIP Account are: adolera, ersill, juanplata019 and john11. Winners must request the VIP Account (1 month like VIP user) from Webmaster Feedback.

Winners of a temporary VIP Account (1 month) are: lillen, sentientred, LochDezz, Dark_Trin. They must request his/her prize by Webmaster form (Link). Congratulations.

- New downloads limits and a raffle -

New downloads limits are:

- 200 mb / 2 hours (150mb / 2hours if server load are high)
- 20 files / 2 hours

Increased: +50mb/2 hours
* Only its allowed a download connection simultaneous.

Soon we will raffle 4 VIP accounts (these VIP accounts only work during a month) between these users (top 11-25 uploaders): JohnnyCash, lillen, LochDezz, juanplata019, john11, OutRider, laro206, adolera, ersill, S3riou5, Iceman97, Dark_Trin, FingerKrampf and sentientred.

Winners will be anounced in the index. A winner will have 7 days to request her/his prize. If a winner wouldnt request her/his prize then this VIP account will be raffled between rest of users (not winners).

This is an experimental raffle. We will try to repeat every month including a VIP Account raffle between all registered users (5 VIP accounts in total).

Note: with a VIP account, you wont have limits to download.

- New upload client soon -

There are a new upload client availabie for upload large files (more than 7mb) directly to ultrastarsongs.com. Soon we will put this jar in an applet for everybody. Meanwhile, because it is an alpha, you must request it by using Webmaster contact (from menu or from this link: http://www.ultrastarsongs.com/modules.php?name=Feedback

Alpha version is a jar application that allows you to schedule your uploads. They will be uploaded automatically. Because its a jar application, you will need Java Virtual Machine (JVM) from www.java.com/en/download/.

You will have to follow this tips: Tips post but renaming after upload zip files like that: Uploader_Artist - Title (VIDEO).zip (this zip contains a folder named "Artist - Title (VIDEO)" ).

We hope that this tool reduce upload work and allow to index faster the songs to the web.

- New upload system -

The new upload system has been installed in the website. Now you can upload songs without size limit from an externel server (http://www.mediafire.com) and specify if you are adding a new song or if you are fixing an existing song (fixing posible errors).

- Important: Upload system fix -

Cause an abuse by an user, uploaded songs will be registered in the user upload counter when their revision was successful.

- Filemanager 2.0 -

Filemanager 2.0 has been installed now in the website.

New:
- Members that are listed in Top 10 uploaders are automatically considered VIP users. VIP users havent got limits to download in Filemanager 2.0.
Note: all uploads are revised, users that upload invalid files (with no reason) will be banned.

- New code and a lot of errors fixed.
